About

I am a PhD scholar in Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad, advised by Dr. Sahely Bhadra. My research develops trustworthy computer-vision systems, with a focus on deepfake and face-forgery detection and explainable AI — models that can identify manipulated media and justify where and why a decision was made.

I am also active in academic service and mentoring through the Research Affairs Council at IIT Palakkad, the IEEE, and the National Service Scheme.

I am broadly interested in bridging rigorous research and reliable engineering. I welcome conversations about research collaborations and mentoring.

Intelligent Buoys for Marine Acoustic Monitoring
An in-situ passive-acoustic sensor network on Sony Spresense edge devices to monitor ocean noise pollution and its impact on marine habitats — a CUSAT × Sony Sensing Solutions University Program (SSUP) India collaboration, using TensorFlow Lite for microcontrollers and deep neural networks for on-device acoustic analysis.

COVID-19 Detection from Chest X-Rays
A ResNet-18 classifier distinguishing Normal, Viral Pneumonia, and COVID-19 chest X-rays (developed for educational use).
Computer Vision
Social Distancing Analyzer & Real-time Mask Detection
Surveillance-based computer-vision tools for monitoring public-health protocol adherence, optimized for CPU deployment.
